Olive June's 4th Birthday

Thought I would start with Catalina. Everyone wants to see Catalina, right.

Now we move onto Olive June's Birthday. Her party came before her actual birthday this year. We went to Chuck E. Cheese', one of her favorite places to go, and all of the kids had a great time.

For Olive June's actual birthday she wanted stuffed animal bunnies she saw at Toys'r'us. She got them and loved them. Here she is on the her birthday morning.

Bay Area (Part 2)

Part 2 or Griffin and Josh's Bay Area Trip. Refer to previous post to see Part 1.
The next day we visited a Steam Train at Tilden Regional Park. Amye, Uncle Marshal, Micah, Liam, Matt, Lisa, Rocco, Grampy, Griffin and I all had a great time.

After going to Tilden, Rocco had to take a nap, but the other boys, Grampy, Amye, Marshal and I went to The Adventure Playground. It was on the bay and the cool breeze was nice on the sunny day. The Adventure Playground is kind of like the Mad Max version of a playground: Kids get to climb on, paint on, and build their own structures in a dust bowl filled with mayhem.

There was also a Zip-line. Liam was a pro.

Later on, we visited Redwood Regional Park. What is a trip to the Bay Area without seeing some Redwoods? We went with Amye, Micah, Liam, Lisa and Grampy. It was a fun and beautiful park to visit.

The main reason Griffin and I went to the Bay Area was to see Great Grandpa Charlie. He recently had some serious health scares so we expedited our family trip and made it a Father / Son trip. During our five day trip we visited him in the hospital once and at a Rehab Center three times. We also got to see Great Grandma Jeanie at the new Montecito home a few times. It was great to see her and know where she is staying these days.

Before and during Bay Area (Part 1)

At the end of May Griffin and I went out to the Bay Area to visit our family. We were considering trying to arrange bringing everyone out there at a later date but some shifting in Great Grandpa Charlie Scott's health convinced us to come out to visit as soon as possible.

Before we get to the Bay Area visit, I have some photos from the week prior. We had some fun on a warm rainy day.

Now we get to the Bay Area trip. When we arrived we stayed with Jon and Debby Scott's place. It was great to catch-up with them. I think I must have been too tired to function at time because I forgot to take any photos.

The first place the boys met up together was a cool park. Griffin and I met up with Auntie Amye, Cousin Micah, Cousin Liam, Grandma Kathy, and Auntie Penny.

The next day Amye, the three boys and I, met up with Auntie Lisa and Cousin Rocco. We went to a fun Theme Park called Children's Fairyland. All the kids had a great time.

The next day we went to the Bay Area Discovery Museum. It was a beautiful day and the museum was right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. Amye, the boys and I, met up with Uncle Matt, Auntie Lisa, Cousin Rocco, Grampy Dave and Grandma Kathy.
