Gearing Up For Christmas

Here are some festive photos for Christmas. The one where Griffin is wearing a red shirt shows his excitement to see everyone at Christmas; actually he was running laps around our fireplace which is one of his favorite things to do. We have been showing him photos of the family and he knows almost everyones' name. So, when you seem him don't let his shy face fool you, he knows who you are. We look forward to seeing everyone soon. As Cyndi said, "The countdown is on."

Reinhardt Visit and B-day Gifts

These are some recent pictures since Griffin's Birthday. This post primarily dedicated to showing Griffin playing with his birthday gifts. The first picture is 'Fin sitting in Mollie's old Barbie car, the next pictures are of him in his new wagon, after that is 'Fin making his "Cheese" face while playing with his letter board and finally we have him making his best rock star face while holding his miniature acoustic guitar.

We were also blessed to have the Reinhardt family out for Thanksgiving. They were lucky enough to experience this year's fall colors pictured above. We all had a really great time.

We really look forward to seeing everyone, in San Diego, over the Christmas holiday.

Griffin's 2nd Birthday part 1

Here is the first birthday installment. I am hoping to get some more pictures from our friends for the next installment. Here we have Griffin enjoying a cupcake, eating with some friends, and Griffin in his new Cozy-Coup. All pictures were taken at his 2nd Birthday on Nov.14 2007.

Unussual Visitors

Last week we borrowed a couple goats from our friend Chris. They are good at eating weeds. We had a particularly bad problem with Poison Ivy in part of yard so I made a dog run, for the bigger of the two goats, and confined him to that part of the yard. The younger, baby, goat named Percy was loved by everyone including Griffin. After having the goats for a week I realized Goat Cheese tastes exactly the way goats smell. Go Figure.

Halloween '07

Here are the Halloween pictures everyone wants to see. Griffin was Dumbo and a hit I must add. We had a great time trick-or-treating in downtown Watkinsville. We also went around to our neighbors in our cul-de-sac. He had such a good time, as you can see by his face in the last picture, that he did not want to stop at his bed time. I enjoy the picture where he looks like he is giving his philosophy about pine-cones. We hope you all had a great Halloween.

October Pre-Halloween

Here are some recent photos from on and around Mollie's Birthday. We have to have our festive Fall/Halloween picture at top and a couple pictures to show Mollie's new haircut; I think it looks great. We hope all of you are doing well and we have been praying that the fires would cease. We can't wait to see everyone in December.

Greenville, SC Past Photos

Hello all. Here are some photos that were from the beginning of summer, I believe. These are pictures from when we visited some friends in Greenville, SC. Greenville has a beautiful down town with a park that has a waterfall; see the picture of Amber and Mollie. These are some great pictures we recently received and I felt inclined to show everyone, even if they are old. These also incriminate the Sliffe's in there notorious appearance around the greater South Carolina Area.

Pixar, Bay Area Visit 2007

One of the highlights of our visit to the Bay Area was visiting Pixar Studios. The kids loved looking and playing (see picture) at the studios. My friend Rob who works at Pixar, took this picture. I am grateful for the pictures because I could not find my camera that morning.

We look forward to Thanksgiving when the Reinhardt's are coming out to visit. To be Followed by a trip to San Diego at Christmas. We have been blessed to see so much family this year.

The Wedding

Hello, to all. We just back from the Bay area this week and we had such a great time. We got to see a lot of Amye, Micah, and Liam. The 3 boys had such a great time playing together. We had a little Birthday party for all 3 boys with family and it was fun. We also great time at the wedding of my sister, Lisa, and my new brother, Matt. The wedding was beautiful and was at Lake Merit in downtown Oakland. I will hopefully get some pictures from the event to show off later.

We had good time going to the park, driving from Oakland to Vallejo to San Ramon, eating Rubio's, drinking Pete's, seeing family, and even visiting the Pixar movie studios. The boys loved it and I got to visit my friend Rob Thompson who works there. Good times!

Grand Mum Comes To Visit

Hello Everyone. We had a delightful visit with Karen Mora from August 9-14, if I recall correctly. Oh, the great cooking and good times we had inside air conditioned bliss; it was too hot to go out much. It was great to have another Grandma out to visit. Griffin had a wonderful time getting to know grandmum. He really loved playing peek-a-boo with all of us in the back yard. There are more pictures on SnapFish for all who are interested.

We look forward to seeing The Billings, The Scotts, and everyone else who is coming out for Lisa and Matt's wedding. We are very excited to see everyone.

Cancun Revisited

Here are some pictures from our Cancun Trip in Late June. I just found the disk that had these pictures after loosing it in the move. We had such a great time with the Reinhardt's in Mexico. Griffin loved the pool, the beach, and seeing family. I have color corrected and cropped many photos from this trip, and I have posted them on SnapFish; if you have not used SnapFish before it is easy and cheap, it will be worth it just to see what I have done with the pictures.

Currently, Mollie's Mum, Karen is here in Georgia. We are having a great time. I hope everything is going well for all of you.

Visit with Scotts' and the house

So much going on these days. If you saw the last entry you know we just moved into our new house. Here are some pictures for all of you who are curious. We have the front, a picture looking out from the backdoor and a picture of the back of the house from the backyard.

We also got to go visit the Young Bay Area Scotts:' Marshall, Amye, Micah and Liam. It hard being media man with all those boys running around, so I only got a couple pictures; Although I did get some great video footage. We met the Scotts' in Asheville NC, as a half way point between us and Raleigh NC. They were visiting some friends and met us for a weekend visit. It was great to see all of them. I can't wait for September to get the boys together again.

We are looking forward to seeing Mollie's Mum, Karen, next week. We will have a good time. Then again, we always have a good time with 'Fin around the house.

The Move

Hello everyone. The Billings' Southeast have moved...into a house. With the help of Grandpa Dave and Grandma Kathy, we have moved from Athens to Watkinsville. We love our new house. It is a blessing and an answer to much prayer. I have some pictures of Griffin with his Grandparents Billings. There also is a picture of him crawling through a tunnel at a park near our new house and another picture at our old apartment where he is anticipating the move.

For those of you hoping to see Griffin in Cancun we have the pictures on a CD, but we need to find them; everything is a mess after the move. I will post some when they become available.

Getting Ready For Cancun

Hello, here we are in July. I'm posting some pictures of Griffin prior to our trip to Cancun; I will post Cancun photos when they are available. As you can see Griffin was ready to go with his new hat and a backpack leash we used in the airports. He also got a new bottle he was very interested in. He loves crawling around in the car and pushing all of the buttons. He really is turning into a big boy.

It is a official, we are going to San Diego for Christmas! I, Josh, will be there for a week, 22nd to the 30th, Mollie and Griffin will be there two weeks, 22nd to the 6th. We are so excited to see everyone.
