Easter and More

Here we are half way through April already. We have started to venture into the yard a lot lately. Since the mosquito's have not fully manifested yet, I have taken the opportunity to work on the yard. I planted a garden with Griffin but he almost immediately lost interest. But Olive June has become my outdoor companion. Here are some photos from our backyard.

What a cutey. Don't you miss her?

She loves being outside and keeps herself occupied while I pull weeds and look over the garden.

Here she is doing a little hip-shake dance. Below is Griffin looking at us from inside. He could come outside with us but he tends to stay in more often than not. Currently, she is more outdoorsy and he tends to prefer being inside.

Here are some photos from Easter. Pictured below is our Easter Morning Easter Egg hunt.

Here is Griffin accounting for all his "Easter Booty."

In the afternoon we were invited by our gracious friends, the Heinzman family, to Easter dinner. This family has really been there for us, through our Griffin trials, and we were so thankful and happy that they invited us over. We had a really blessed and fun time.

The kids had another Easter Egg hunt there too.

We asked to get a family photo and we got two good ones.

Prior to Easter I took Olive June to a special Park. Griffin still can't go to parks, so this was a special Father, Daughter outing. It made me think of all the times I took Griffin to the park before he was two years-old; this was the first time I took Olive to the park, with or without Griffin. It made me a little sad that she has missed out on some fun things, do to Griffin's hospitalization. It also made me vow, to myself, that I would make sure she gets the time she deserves, with or without Griffin.

Olive's new favorite outdoor activity is to climb around in our parked car. Griffin joins her sometimes too.

One great recent Billings development is that Griffin can have friends over to our house. His new best friend is named Kellen and he came over for a visit the other day. They play with dragons and watch Godzilla, Kellen's favorite show. Pictured below is some wrestling.
