Last year we went to a Camp Sunshine event held at an Apple Orchard just prior to Griffin's Bone-marrow Transplant. This year we got to celebrate his wellness by returning to the Orchard once more. We had fun at a petting Zoo where kids got hold chicks, kittens, calves, feed goats and more. Griffin was proud to hold a chick all by himself.

On the prowl. Dark clouds rolled in a we proceeded to pick apples on the fly. We then ran to the car in
torrential rain and road home wet.
Back home hanging out in the living room, or the "big room" as Griffin calls it.
Recently, Griffin and I got to go our first Georgia
Bulldawg game. Some kind folks from the Light the Night Organization gave us four tickets. We invited Jared, and his father, from the Lighthouse Retreat to join us at the game. We had amazing seat field level at the End Zone. Griffin had fun for a while but it was a super hot day and he wanted to leave before the first quarter finished. His favorite part of the game was the marching band. We all had a great time.
This is a typical thing I see when I get home from work; the family getting home and the kids watching a movie in the car.

A preview of Halloween. Olive June and Griffin recently watched Dumbo and she fell in love. For reason ever since Olive June saw Dumbo she keeps saying, "What happened to the eyes." We are not exactly sure what she is referring to but there was a lot crying in Dumbo. Anyway Griffin has a Dumbo costume from a few years back. Luckily OJ fits perfectly into Griffin's costume.
